A spline pass that didn’t kill me!
Wow! I thought this was going to be a nightmare to spline but taking it down to 2’s on the parts with lots of detail kept me from having to noodle around too much. I left one area (the jump back into the boat) on 4’s because I knew I’d have to play with it, and it definitely paid off by giving me a loose framework which was flexible enough to easily implement timing and posing changes.
Laying in the dingy animation was a ton of fun, and hopefully it feels right. Sure made the physicality of stewie pop by having something reacting to it!

Still have a chunk at the end to do, but I’m moving into my tiedown pass with 2 weeks left on the assignment! I think I’m in a good spot! I even had enough time to mess up Stewie’s mask, and fill it with water which I think is fun. :D
