Post AM – Class 7 – Bob’s New Boots Tiedown.

Ok! Did a tiedown pass on this and for now, I’m going to call it done. Doing a very realistic dog was a big challenge, and I’d say this is only somewhat sucessful. Big lessons learned was to NOT block in too much detail (I did every 2 frames because I was worried about the subtle movements), as this restricts what you can quickly change later on. It also creates a lot of jitter and can be a pain to iron out. I ended up almost key per frame in areas that shouldn’t require it.

Things I think that went well was capturing how a dog looks and feels when it’s dealing with commands or restraints like boots. I think I also captured some decent appeal, although it was maybe a bit to close to reality here.
