Finalized my blocking and started in on spline. Man, I’m still really excited about working on this which has helped the long hours pass by quickly. I think it’s an entertaining little sequence and even spline is going well so far.
A friend Dave mentioned that I could have gone a much more subtle route on the guy, by having him play with the glass in a sexual way like he was playing with the woman. I think that would have been really interesting as well. I think this route works, it’s just great to hear how many ways you could approach something like this. This is a big reason animation is such a strong pull for me – the possibilities starting a shot are huge.
